Maternity Leave

This baby will be here any day now! I am officially on maternity leave. But, I will be taking a few sessions starting the end of October. Space is filling up fast, so if you are interested in a session please contact me! And wish me luck, this little one is going to make it so the parents are outnumbered...

A big thanks to my friend Allison for taking my maternity pictures!

Emily • Bik • Sammy

Such a cute family! This little boy is super active and interested in everything around him. Exactly as he should be! At one point he all the sudden looked up and started smiling like crazy. I took some shots and said how weird it was that he decided to look up and grin all the sudden. Turns out his Mom was behind me jumping up and down to earn the grin. I love what we will do for that big genuine smile!

Taya

I really love Senior sessions. Such a fun and exciting time in their lives. I was again reminded why I love photography so much. After her Mom looked at the pictures from this session she called, crying, to say thank you. It makes me feel so good that a milestone in life can be captured and remembered forever. I think I might be a mess when my kids hit this stage...

Turning Two

So far, my favorite age is two. There's really not too much terrible about it...it's the three's you've got to worry about! This little princess is just too much with her curly blond hair and big brown eyes! Love it!

Laura • Adam • Charlotte • Jonas & Some Mud

I got to take this little guys newborn pictures last year. He sure has changed! So Adam, the dad, got to pick the "theme" for the family pictures this year, since he goes along with Laura's idea each year. His choice...mud fight! I think it is brilliant. I had so much fun with these guys. The original plans were a little hindered by dried up dirt and a cricket game. But, the second choice pond was awesome. Maybe the kids didn't think it was the most fun thing ever...but these memories will last forever. I can't wait to see what next year brings!
