My Friend Lara

This is my friend Lara (and her beautiful family) who took my family pictures. This was also when it was summer time. I remember the days of no coats, hats, gloves, boots, etc. It will come again. Unfortunately, when it does Lara will move soon after. It will be a very sad day. I remember when I first moved here and met her in the hall at church. I knew right away that I wanted to be friends. Now it is almost three years later. I will miss her dearly. Life will not be the same.

On a happy note, these pictures are darling!

Little Collin

Remember when it was summer and hot. This shoot was one of the hottest muggiest days ever. Collin was a good sport. He sure has grown since I last saw him (2 months old). I don't think I'll ever get over his blazing blue eyes. So handsome!

Merry Christmas From Pioneer Woman

What a Christmas present! Pioneer Woman picked another one of my photo's for the current contest she has going on, which is Holiday Bokeh! I am beyond words. It's a dream come true and I'm really hoping I don't wake up and realize it all was a dream:) You can see the picture here:

Words can't describe how excited I am! I am honored to be among such great and beautiful photo's. Thanks PW, it means the world to me!

And in the spirit of Christmas, I will leave you with a scripture found in Luke, Chapter 2:

"And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Somebody Pinch Me!

Remember my Claim to Fame entry? Well, I am ecstatic that one of my pictures was chosen by Pioneer Woman again! I freaked my husband out when I went bounding up the stairs to tell him, but I couldn't contain my excitement. You can see it on her site here, mine is the last picture:

Seriously so excited. I feel like a little girl on Christmas morning! Pretty sure this makes me and PW BFF's.

You would think that no naps for two little kids, a baby exploding out her dress onto her dad's shirt, and a broken shoe for mom would have hindered this photo shoot. Nope, not a bit. I LOVE how these turned out! Such a cute family. And, I've made another friend. I'm really liking that part of my job:)

These sisters are beyond cute! I couldn't stop myself from sharing these before the rest of them are ready!

Colleen & Family

We learned something on this shoot...this girl is head-over-heals with the camera. She was working it! Absolutely adorable. Every time I turned around she had posed herself again. And the rest of the family followed suit! Such a cute family. I love these! And talking about this family would not be complete if I didn't say, "To infinity and beyond!"
