Liam Turns One

It makes me so happy when clients return and have me take their photo's again! I got to meet this little guys when he was in his first few days of life last year. Now he is walking around, eating leaves, and smiling. He is one cute kid! It was a fun, beautiful morning at the beach!

Irina • Jon • Laura

Little Laura is getting so big. I love seeing her personality coming through. She really was in love with sticks! What a beautiful family.

Sneak Peek of Laura

I had to share this super cute image before I completely finished the session. This little one is so darling...yet prefers sticks over flowers and refused the cute headband. Good luck parents, although I've always thought having more of a tomboy is better than having too girly! More to come shortly.

Ashley

Can you believe that she is merely a few weeks from being due? Such a cute pregnant girl. I am in love with the colors in these...I believe that this is the first time I am not posting any black and whites. I met Ashley a few years ago, and got to know her even better on a trip to Cancun. She is hilarious! Just love her. Congrats on the pregnancy and I can't wait to see the little guy!

Two Grads and a BFF

I don't even want to write this post because it makes me so sad. This is my BFF Lara and her husband. You can call him Dr. and you can call her Master. How cool is that? As you'll see below, they also have three adorable children. What a gorgeous blue-eyed family.

So, the reason I don't want to write this post. Graduation usually means moving. I will stay here, they will move over-seas. I knew this day would come, but now it is around the corner in the single digits. It makes me cry. Life will not be the same. I met Lara three years ago when we moved here. She was walking down the hall at church and I knew right away I wanted to be friends. Life will not be the same without her 10 minutes away. I know we'll always be friends, but I want to still live in the same town. And let's not even start with how much my kids are going to miss her and her family.
I can talk to her for hours and not have a clue about the amount of time that has passed. She is amazing. She can make anything (sew, crochet, bake, frost, paper...), she's an awesome photographer (she just took my family pics, they're coming), she's great with kids, she's super fun, she's loving, she's kind, and I'm going to miss her like crazy. But I hate "goodbye's," so I'll just go with "see ya later," because I will.
